Thinking about switching?
Building Logistics is a package management product for buildings, using label scanning to log an item and notify the recipient. If your recipient list is small and stable, that is most of the job done.
Where teams start looking around is when the list stops being stable. Somebody moves room in November, a student withdraws in week three, three hundred residents arrive in a fortnight. The scanning was never the hard part. Knowing who the item is for turns out to be.
What to look for in an alternative
Almost every parcel problem eventually traces back to the recipient list. If that list is maintained by hand, or refreshed from a spreadsheet somebody exports on a Friday, it will be wrong at exactly the moment it matters most.
So ask a specific question of any vendor: can it read people, and where they sit, directly from the system you already maintain? And if it can, does it write anything back into that system, or only read?
Where Traizr is different
Your recipient list keeps itself current
Traizr has twelve integrations covering student information systems, property management platforms and business systems, including StarRez, Ellucian Ethos, Workday, Yardi, Entrata, Mews and Dynamics 365. The mailroom reads the record your organisation already keeps, on a schedule, rather than a copy of it.
Read-only by design
Every connector reads and nothing more. Traizr builds a recipient list from your records and never writes back into your student, property or business system, which is usually the first question an IT team asks and the one that decides whether a project happens.
And a file works too
If your system has no usable API, or getting API access approved would take longer than the rollout, publishing a CSV or XLSX file to a URL is enough. Plenty of sites start there, get the mailroom running, and connect a system properly later.
What a move actually involves
The scanning half of the move is quick because the workflow is the same one your team already knows. The part worth planning is the connector, which usually means a short conversation with whoever administers your source system and one decision about which fields carry name, email and location.
See them side by side
Ask both vendors to show the recipient list updating from your own system rather than a demo dataset. Look at the Traizr feature set, or book a demo and bring the system you actually run.
