Pricing
How Traizr Pricing Works
Priced by the building, not by the person. One implementation fee at the start, every feature included from day one, and volume pricing as you add sites.
- No per-user fees
- No hardware to buy
- No feature tiers
You are buying building solutions, not seats
Most mailroom software is sold per user, which sounds cheap on the first quote and grows every time somebody joins. Traizr is licensed per building. Everyone in that building is covered, whether it is forty people or four thousand, and an intake of residents in September does not change the invoice.
The first building carries the platform licence. Each additional building is priced per building, and the rate falls as the count rises, so the tenth costs less than the second.
Included
These are part of the platform.
-
Unlimited recipients
Nobody is licensed individually. Adding a floor, a department or an intake does not change what you pay.
-
Email & in-app notifications
Unlimited, on every plan. SMS is the only channel with a usage cost, because each message is bought from a carrier.
-
Reporting & analytics
Volumes, turnaround, what is still pending and who receives most, exportable.
-
14 interface languages
Each user picks their own, across the admin platform and the mobile app. See multilingual mailroom software.
-
Access control & single sign-on
Role-based permissions and SSO, rather than a security tier bolted on above the base licence.
-
Outbound as well as inbound
The same record keeping applied to what leaves the building, not a separate product.
The two optional modules
Both exist because certain customers require them.
Virtual office, priced per location
For handling mail against registered business addresses rather than people who are physically in the building. See virtual office software.
Multi-tenant offices, priced per building
Where each tenant company needs its own view of its own mail and its own people, while you keep oversight from the centre. See multi-tenant mailroom software.
SMS is the only thing metered
Email and in-app notifications are unlimited and included. SMS is different because every message is bought from a mobile carrier, so it is sold as a monthly pack with an allowance included. Anything beyond the allowance is charged per message, at a rate that varies by destination country.
In practice most buildings never reach the allowance, because email and in-app cover the majority of recipients and SMS is reserved for the ones who genuinely need a text. See SMS and Slack notifications.
What changes your price, and what does not
-
Changes it: how many buildings
The main driver, and the one with volume pricing behind it. The per-building rate falls as the count rises.
-
Changes it: whether you need a module
Virtual office or multi-tenant.
-
Changes it: how many SMS's you send
Only past the included allowance. The per-message rate depends on the destination country.
-
Does not: how many people
Recipients, staff and admins are all unlimited. Growth inside a building is free.
-
Does not: how many parcels
There is no per-item charge. A December peak costs the same as a quiet August.
-
Does not: hardware
It runs on the phones and tablets your team already carries. Nothing to buy, nothing to replace in three years.
Why there is no price list here
Pricing questions
Why are there no prices on this page?
Because a number on its own would be misleading. What a building costs depends on how many buildings there are, whether you need the virtual office or multi-tenant modules, and how much SMS you send. A quote takes a few minutes to produce and it is the whole cost, not a starting figure that grows once the detail arrives.
What is the unit of pricing?
The building. The first building carries the platform licence and each additional building is priced per building, at a lower rate as the number goes up. Above a certain portfolio size it moves to an enterprise agreement priced around what you actually run.
Do you charge per user or per recipient?
No. Recipients are not licensed individually, so a new floor, a new department or an intake of residents does not change what you pay. This is worth checking against any other quote you are comparing, because per-user pricing is common and it is the line that grows quietly.
Is every feature included, or are there tiers?
Included. Reporting, multi-site management, outbound tracking, role-based access, single sign-on, white-label branding and all 14 interface languages are part of the platform rather than a higher tier. The practical effect is that the quote you compare is the whole product.
Is there a setup cost?
There is a one-time implementation fee, separate from the ongoing licence. It covers configuring the platform around how your building already works, importing your recipient list and training the people who will run it. It is charged once, not annually.
What about hardware?
There is none to buy. Traizr runs on the iOS and Android phones and tablets your team already carries, and the admin platform runs in a browser. No on-site server, no scanner fleet, and no replacement cycle three years later.
How are notifications charged?
Email and in-app notifications are included and unlimited. SMS is the only channel with a usage cost, because we are buying each message from a carrier. It is sold as a monthly pack with an allowance included, and anything beyond the allowance is charged per message at a rate that varies by destination country.
What are the optional modules?
Two. Virtual office, priced per location, for handling mail against registered addresses rather than occupants. And multi-tenant offices, priced per building, where each tenant needs their own view of their own mail while you keep oversight from the centre. If neither describes your building, neither is on your quote.
Does the price change as we grow?
Adding recipients does not change it. Adding buildings does, and the per-building rate falls as the count rises, so the tenth building costs less than the second. Tell us the portfolio you expect to reach rather than the one you are starting with and the quote can be built around it.
How long does a quote take?
Usually the same day. We need to know how many buildings, what type they are, whether you need either module, and roughly how much SMS you expect to send. If you would rather see it working first, a demo takes about 20 minutes and uses your building, not a sample one.
