If it is three or four times, most of that journey is invisible to a system that records an arrival and a collection.
Ask what happens at the steps in between. Can a handover from goods-in to a departmental post room be recorded with a name against it? When something stalls, can you see which step it stalled at, or only that it has not been collected?
