About MRW
MRW is a large Spanish express-courier network that operates through a system of local franchises. It delivers across Spain, Portugal, Andorra and Gibraltar, and is a common choice for domestic and Iberian express parcels for both businesses and consumers.
Because MRW works through franchises, the depot that covers your address handles the final leg of the journey. That local model is fast and flexible, but it also means collections, redeliveries and tracking detail are usually arranged with the franchise nearest to you.
MRW tracking number formats
An MRW consignment number is commonly around 11 digits with no letters. You will find it on the MRW receipt, a delivery notice, or the sender's dispatch confirmation.
MRW tracking statuses explained
- Recorded (Grabado)MRW has registered the shipment details; the parcel has entered the network but may not have moved yet.
- In transit (En tránsito)The parcel is moving between MRW franchises and hubs. Expect quiet gaps between scans.
- Out for delivery (En reparto)The item is on the local franchise's delivery round and should arrive that day.
- Delivered (Entregado)Handed over at the address. For businesses this means reception or the mailroom received it - not yet the named recipient.
- Delivery attemptedMRW tried to deliver but nobody was available; a notice is usually left and the parcel returns to the local depot.
- Held at depotWaiting at the local MRW franchise for collection or a rescheduled delivery. Bring ID and the consignment number.
MRW tracking FAQs
How do I track an MRW parcel?
Enter your MRW consignment number - commonly around 11 digits - into the tracker above. You'll see each event from when the shipment is recorded (Grabado) through transit to delivery (Entregado). The number is on your MRW receipt or the sender's dispatch note.
What does an MRW tracking number look like?
An MRW consignment number is commonly around 11 digits with no letters. You'll find it on the MRW receipt, a delivery notice, or the sender's dispatch confirmation.
Why is my MRW parcel at the local depot or franchise?
MRW operates through local franchises, so parcels are routed via the franchise covering your address. After a failed delivery the item is usually held there for collection or redelivery, and the tracking shows the local depot handling it.
How do I arrange an MRW redelivery?
Contact the local MRW franchise handling your parcel - its details appear on the delivery notice or in the tracking. You can usually arrange a new delivery date or collect in person from the depot with ID and the consignment number.
Can Traizr track MRW deliveries into my building?
Yes. Traizr tracks parcels once they reach your building: staff scan each MRW item in, the recipient is notified automatically, and a signature is captured on collection - a complete chain of custody from courier to recipient.
Common MRW tracking problems
Held at the local franchise
After a failed delivery MRW holds the parcel at the franchise covering your address. Take ID and the consignment number to collect, or arrange a new delivery date.
Delivery attempted while out
“En reparto” followed by a failed attempt usually means nobody was available. A notice is left and the parcel returns to the depot - at a business, check reception first.
Arranging a redelivery
Redeliveries are handled by the local franchise, not a central hub. Use the contact details on the notice or in the tracking to book a new slot.
Tracking routed via the franchise
Because the last leg is run by a franchise, detailed scan updates can lag the actual movement. Give it a working day before assuming the parcel is stuck.
What happens after “Delivered”?
For a home address, delivery is the end of the story. For an office, university, hospital or apartment building, it's only halfway: the parcel has reached the door, but it still has to travel from reception to the person it's actually for. That internal leg is invisible to MRW - and it's where parcels most often go missing.
Traizr picks up exactly where the MRW scan ends, giving your building the same visibility for the internal journey that MRW gives for the external one.
