About Collect+
Collect+ is a UK parcel drop-off and collection network run through thousands of local convenience stores. It is operated by Yodel, so once your parcel leaves the store it travels on Yodel's delivery network before reaching its destination.
Because Collect+ is built around local shops, a parcel may be sent for you to collect from a store near you, or delivered to your address - your tracking shows which route applies to your item.
Collect+ tracking number formats
A Collect+ reference is an alphanumeric code supplied by the retailer or printed on your drop-off receipt. Keep that receipt - it is your proof of drop-off as well as your tracking key.
Collect+ tracking statuses explained
- Dropped off / collectedThe parcel has entered the network - dropped at a store, or collected from the sender.
- In transitThe parcel is moving through Yodel's network between depots. Expect quiet gaps between scans.
- Out for delivery / Ready to collectEither with a driver for delivery that day, or waiting for you to collect from a store.
- Delivered / CollectedHanded over at the address or picked up from the store. For businesses this means reception or the mailroom received it - not yet the named recipient.
Collect+ tracking FAQs
How do I track a Collect+ parcel?
Enter your Collect+ reference into the tracker above - an alphanumeric code from the retailer or your drop-off receipt. Because Collect+ is operated by Yodel, the parcel travels on Yodel's network once collected from the store.
Is Collect+ a home delivery or a store collection?
It can be either. Collect+ is a drop-off and collection network run through local convenience stores, so a parcel may be sent for you to collect from a store, or delivered to your address. Your tracking shows which applies.
What does a Collect+ tracking number look like?
It's an alphanumeric reference supplied by the retailer or printed on your drop-off receipt. Keep that receipt - it's your proof of drop-off and your key to tracking the parcel.
What does “delivered” mean at a business address?
For an office, campus or apartment block, “delivered” means the parcel was handed to reception or a mailroom - not to the named person. Internal tracking software like Traizr takes over from that point.
Can Traizr track Collect+ parcels automatically?
Traizr tracks parcels once they reach your building: staff scan each item in, the recipient is notified automatically, and a signature is captured on collection - a complete chain of custody from courier to recipient.
Common Collect+ tracking problems
Store collection vs home delivery
Not sure whether to wait in or head to a shop? Check your tracking: it will show either “out for delivery” to your address or “ready to collect” at a named store.
Parcel awaiting collection at a store
If your parcel is ready to collect, take photo ID and your reference to the named store. Stores hold parcels for a limited time before returning them.
Keep the drop-off receipt
When you send a parcel via Collect+, the store receipt is your proof of drop-off and your tracking reference. Don't discard it until the item is confirmed delivered.
Tracking not updating
Scans pause between depots on the Yodel network, especially overnight. If nothing changes for several days past the expected date, contact the retailer to raise an enquiry.
What happens after “Delivered”?
For a home address, delivery is the end of the story. For an office, university, hospital or apartment building, it's only halfway: the parcel has reached the door, but it still has to travel from reception to the person it's actually for. That internal leg is invisible to Collect+ - and it's where parcels most often go missing.
Traizr picks up exactly where the courier scan ends, giving your building the same visibility for the internal journey that Collect+ gives for the external one.
