About Nexive
Nexive was historically Italy's second-largest postal operator, delivering letters and parcels across the country as an alternative to the incumbent postal service. It built a nationwide network for mail and e-commerce shipments.
Nexive is now part of Poste Italiane, and some volumes are handled through the wider Poste Italiane network. Its tracking updates follow the Italian delivery vocabulary - from preso in carico to consegnato.
Nexive tracking number formats
A Nexive tracking number is a numeric tracking code supplied by the sender or in your dispatch notification. Enter it exactly as shown, without spaces.
Nexive tracking statuses explained
- Accepted (Preso in carico)Nexive has received the parcel from the sender and it has entered the network.
- In transit (In transito)The parcel is moving between hubs and the local delivery point. Expect quiet gaps between scans.
- Out for delivery (In consegna)The parcel is with a carrier on the delivery round and should arrive that day.
- Delivered (Consegnato)Handed over at the address. For businesses this means reception or the mailroom received it - not yet the named recipient.
Nexive tracking FAQs
How do I track a Nexive parcel?
Enter your Nexive tracking code into the tracker above - a numeric code from the sender or your dispatch notification. You'll see each step from accepted (preso in carico) through to delivered (consegnato).
Is Nexive now part of Poste Italiane?
Yes. Nexive was historically Italy's second-largest postal operator and is now part of Poste Italiane. Some items are handled through the Poste Italiane network, so your parcel may appear across linked tracking systems.
What does a Nexive tracking number look like?
It's a numeric tracking code, supplied by the sender or in your dispatch notification. Enter it exactly as shown, without spaces.
What does “delivered” mean at a business address?
For an office, campus or apartment block, “delivered” (consegnato) means Nexive handed the parcel to reception or a mailroom - not to the named person. Internal tracking software like Traizr takes over from that point.
Can Traizr track Nexive parcels automatically?
Traizr tracks parcels once they reach your building: staff scan each item in, the recipient is notified automatically, and a signature is captured on collection - a complete chain of custody from courier to recipient.
Common Nexive tracking problems
Held at a delivery point
If a delivery couldn't be completed, the parcel may be held at a local delivery point for collection. Check your notification for where to go and what ID to bring.
Now handled via Poste Italiane
Since Nexive joined Poste Italiane, some items move through that network. Your parcel may appear across linked tracking tools - use the Nexive code to see its history.
Delivery attempted
If nobody was available, the carrier records the attempt and usually retries or holds the parcel. Check your notification for the retry or collection option.
Tracking not updating
Scans pause between hubs, especially overnight. If nothing changes for several days past the expected date, contact the sender to raise an enquiry.
What happens after “Delivered”?
For a home address, delivery is the end of the story. For an office, university, hospital or apartment building, it's only halfway: the parcel has reached the door, but it still has to travel from reception to the person it's actually for. That internal leg is invisible to Nexive - and it's where parcels most often go missing.
Traizr picks up exactly where the courier scan ends, giving your building the same visibility for the internal journey that Nexive gives for the external one.
